the fall

Art is happening more to me than through me lately. Summer was very hectic. Didn't get many pictures. And my HD, then system board crashed. Now I'm using an old machine a friend loaned me. And I'm rehearsing for a small play at school. I got what I hope is a good shot of the moon this morning. Have to see when I load it up to full size. That may be a few days. Too much to do.

Just came back from Beijing. Have some pics to post. I'm still recovering from my mind looping around itself and trying to communicate in Mandarin while forgetting how to ask people to talk more slowly.

I have been avoiding this. Dave has been urging me to put up my stuff. I'm running out of excuses. So for all those times I saw something neat and told myself, "I wish I had a camera with me" I got a camera phone. The quality is only ok, but the images are what are important to me. They are either beautiful or interesting or strange. There will be more stuff up randomly. I've done a smidge of modeling, written some poems, made other stuff. It may not sound deviant but I've taken up knitting. It's the ultimate art for those of us who like to get a 'do-over'. Nice to meet you and have a cuppa on me.
